What is DTF Printing?
DTF (Direct to Film) transfers are a revolutionary printing method that allows vibrant, high-resolution designs
to be applied to a wide variety of fabrics. At NeoInk, we use this cutting-edge technique to bring your
custom apparel ideas to life.
The process begins by printing your design onto a special PET film using eco-friendly, water-based or
eco-solvent inks. Next, a layer of hot-melt adhesive powder is applied and cured to prepare the transfer for
heat pressing. Once ready, the transfer is applied to your fabric using a heat press, bonding the design
securely and permanently.
DTF transfers are known for their:
- Bold, vibrant colors
- Fine detail and gradients
- Excellent durability
- Compatibility with both light and dark fabrics
From cotton tees to performance wear, DTF printing is the go-to solution for custom designs that stand out
and last.
What Fabrics Can I Use DTF Transfers On?
One of the biggest advantages of DTF transfers at NeoInk is their versatility across almost any fabric:
- Cotton: Perfect for everyday wear like T-shirts, tote bags, and hoodies.
- Polyester: Produces vivid results, ideal for sportswear and uniforms.

- Nylon: Great for jackets, gym bags, and outerwear.
- Lycra & Spandex: Stretches without cracking, ideal for leggings and activewear.

NeoInk transfers offer a reliable and professional-grade solution for nearly all materials.
How to Apply DTF Transfers with a Household Iron
Don't have a heat press? You can still apply it with a household iron by following
these steps:
1. Position the Transfer: Place your transfer on the fabric. Use heat-resistant tape if needed.
2. Set the Iron: Use the highest setting (usually Cotton/Linen). Turn steam off.
3. Cover and Press: Use parchment paper or a silicone sheet. Press firmly for 8-10 seconds.
4. Peel Film: Wait a few seconds, then peel while warm. Repress areas if needed.
5. Final Press: Cover with parchment and press again for a lasting finish.
Even with a regular iron, we deliver bold, durable results.
Are DTF Transfers Durable?
Yes. Our products are built to last:
- Wash-Resistant: Withstands 60+ washes with minimal fading.
- Crack-Free Flexibility: Moves with the garment.
- Eco-Friendly Inks: Bright colors that last.
- Strong Adhesion: Prevents peeling over time.
With proper care, NeoInk DTF rival or exceed traditional printing methods.

- Fabric type
